- No accounts. We do not create or manage user accounts.
- No backend. The app does not send your personal data to our servers.
- Local-only storage. Your homies list, streaks, and history stay on your device.
- Messages are your choice. Messages are sent via the Apple Messages composer (iMessage/SMS).
- We don’t know who you message. We do not receive recipients, contacts, or message content.
We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, contacts, phone number, message content, or recipient list.
We also do not run analytics SDKs or advertising trackers in the app.
The app may store the following locally on your device to function:
- Homies you add (names/nicknames you enter)
- Local streaks and history
- App preferences (e.g., selected style)
- Generated kiss-card images (when you create/share them)
This data is not uploaded to us.
Goodnight Homie uses Apple’s Messages composer to help you send a goodnight message. You choose the recipient, review the message, and tap send.
Your carrier or Apple may process messages you send, depending on iMessage/SMS. We do not have access to that transmission.
If you purchase Goodnight Homie PRO, the transaction is processed by Apple via in-app purchase. We do not receive your payment card details.
Apple may provide us non-personal purchase signals needed to unlock features (e.g., whether an entitlement is active). Subscription management (including cancellation) is handled in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information because we do not collect it.
The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Since data is stored locally, protecting your device (passcode/Face ID) helps protect your app data.
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the new version at goodnighthomie.com/privacy.html.
